August is always a very popular a time of the year for visitors to Broome and it may now be difficult to find accommodation. The Cable Beach Club resort is now fully booked out during the conference period!
Additional hotels and lodges are available in Broome township 6 kilometres from Cable Beach. Less expensive accommodation is available at resorts and hotels in areas further from the beach. The Roebuck Bay Hotel is popular pub in the town which also provides lower cost accommodation. There is an hourly bus service linking Cable Beach and Broome, and the conference will provide buses to and from the venue at the start and end of each day. Self-contained appartments are also a less expensive option for families and students.
