Broome is also a gateway to the "top-end" of Australia and the wild and scenic Kimberley Region. August is a balmy time of the year with an average maximum temperature of 30oC (82oF) with low humidity and little likelihood of rain. The conference resort is on the magnificent Cable Beach (see left) and August is the optimal season in northern Australia for swimming, sailing, touring and relaxing.
